Newt Fencing
Protect endangered species
Newt fencing, also known as amphibian fencing, is the term used to describe a wildlife barrier used in construction, tree planting, landscaping, and forestry projects to keep newts, other amphibians, and reptiles safe from harm.
If you’re working in a wildlife area that could disturb or cause harm to endangered species, Newt fencing is crucial to your operation running smoothly and to the protection of local wildlife. Contact us today to discuss your project.
Tear-proof and weather-proof
Newt fencing consists of polythene or membrane sheeting supported by wooden stakes and usually buried in a narrow trench. The sheet material is resistant to tearing and helps keep wildlife either inside a protected area or outside an area of work.
Protecting the wildlife in the area you’re working in is important. The newt fencing system is designed to preserve or trap newts and other amphibians so that they can be safely moved to another habitat if required.
